Our Religious Education Program at IHM is dependent on volunteers, both teaching and non-teaching. We are very grateful to these dedicated people and invite you to contribute to the religious education experience either in the classroom as a Catechist, Aide, or as a non-teaching volunteer to provide the best learning environment for all our students.
Steps Required to Volunteer
Complete the online Religious Education Volunteer Registration Form. The form will allow you to specify your interest area and include any comments you would like to make. Once you submit the form, you will receive a confirmation email that will outline the required next steps in the process.
Submit an Archdiocesan non-financial Background Check Form and a Safe Environment Questionnaire (STEP 2 DETAILS)
Complete a 40 minute training session entitled 'Safer Spaces' and review Annual Briefing (STEP 3 DETAILS)
Tuition Fees for Children of Volunteers:
Catechists who commit to teaching their own class every week, receive a 100% tuition discounts.
