The Confirmation Candidates will be wearing gowns for Confirmation Day. 

Please read the guidelines below very carefully.

 Boys: A red gown, under the gown please wear a dress shirt and pants and a tie.  Feet will show under the gown, please wear socks and dress shoes.  PLEASE, ABSOLUTELY NO SNEAKERS, blue jeans, or corduroy pants.  

Girls: A red gown, under the red gown an appropriate dresses, or a skirt and blouse.   Please no miniskirts, or dresses with high slits up the side, no low cut or strapless dresses.  Please wear appropriate shoes; you will be walking the aisle of the church. Please no very high heels.  Be sure to break your shoes in before you wear them on Confirmation Day.  *Please note, the color of the girls’ gowns has changed to red.  Red is the liturgically correct color to use for Confirmation.

*Corsages and boutonnieres for sponsors are allowed, but optional. Students should not wear anything on their gowns other than the pins that are given to them.

 **We will be emailing an online Confirmation Gown/Robe Order Form in January 2023.  The cost of the gown has been included in the Confirmation registration fee.  No additional payment will be necessary.
