ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL

Arrival and Entering the School - Masks and social distancing are required for all students and Catechists.   This year we will be meeting in the church, not the auditorium, every week.  Upon your arrival, please go directly to the church where your child will hand in the required Health Assessment Form and his/her temperature will be taken. Parents, please do not leave until your child is through the screening process.

Dismissal - Dismissal for the 3:30 classes will be at 5:00 and dismissal for the 5:15 classes will be at 6:45.  Please be on time to pick up your children.  For your child’s safety, it is essential that he or she not be dropped off or picked up more than 10 minutes before or after the scheduled time.   The parish cannot guarantee supervision beyond these times.  If you are running late, please call the Religious Ed. Office to let us know at 914-723-7593, we will be sure your child is brought to the office to wait for you.  

Kindergarten - Dismissal from the side doors between the church and school.

Grade 1 - Dismissal from the side doors on the Boulevard side of the school. 

Grade 2,3,4 - Dismissal through the side doors and walked up to the parking lot to an assigned area.    

Grades 5,6,7,8 - Dismissal from the front doors of the school. 

All Grades: If your child is allowed to walk home, a note must be brought in the first day of class and given to your Catechist.

Lateness and Entering the School - We know that circumstances come up and you can’t always get to class on time.  For the safety of our children, all the doors of the school will be locked. Please come to the Boulevard side entrance, ring the bell and we will come up to help you. Your child's temperature will be taken and the parent-signed Health Assessment Form must be collected before your child will be permitted to enter the building.

This year, we cannot use the auditorium doors to enter the school.  The only time they will be in use is for the 6:45 Monday and Wednesday dismissal. Each child must have a completed Health Assessment Form to enter the building. 
  
Early Pick-up - If you need to pick up your child early from Religion, please come to the Religious Ed. Office to sign them out. No child is allowed to use the auditorium or leave the school unaccompanied.  

To pick up your child, entrance to the building will only be through the side doors on the Boulevard side of the building. Ring the bell and someone will come up to help you.
